NZL World Jumping Challenge
North and South Island

These rules are to be read in conjunction with the FEI World Jumping Challenge rules. Note: FEI Jumping rules and General Regulations will prevail in any circumstance not covered in the current World Jumping Challenge rules.

Applications & administration to conduct the NZL World Jumping Challenge
  • Confirmation of Competition dates – before the 1st November one year prior to the competition.
  • The FEI logo must be used in all publications, programmes and flyers see: http:www.fei.org/fei/about-fei/commercial/branding
  • NZL will hold two separate World Jumping Challenge competitions, one on the South Island. (Cat A) and one on the North Island( Cat A, B & C). 
  • Course plans and material lists for 2015 have been designed by Guilherme JORGE (BRA) and are available on the FEI website at the following link. http://www.fei.org/fei/events/fei-world-challenge/jumping/downloads
  • It is the responsibility of the OC to award a special prize to the best presented horse in each category/event based on the FEI Veterinary Delegate and Ground Jurys decision.
  • ALL horses competing will be allocated a three digit horse ID number by the relevant OC.
  • There will be a Team ranking per regional Zone. (Each team is composed of the 1st rider per Category A,B,C). 
  • Only Category A qualifies for the World final (best two horse/rider combination per regional group will qualify). 
  • Rider/horse combinations must participate in all three Category events to qualify for points. Two months prior to the 1st WJC Event the following information must be sent to the FEI by ESNZ Jumping. 
  • Name and status of President of the Ground Jury (FEI Judge) for Category A, B & C plus email address and mobile.
  • Name and status - Foreign Judge for category A, 3rd event only plus email & mobile. (must be at least FEI level 2). 
  • No last minute changes will be accepted by the FEI Entry fee & Prize money.
  • Prize money must be paid one prize in every four for each category/event as per FEI rules.
  • It is recommended that there be a maximum entry fee for all categories of $35 per event.
  • Overall winner in each category will be presented with a Rug. (Winners Rugs have been sponsored and will be sent to final events prior to competition).
